Greetings from the new Burns Media Centre in Baltimore! The Comcast guy has shown up today and now I am about to buy a route so I can do whatever I want from anywhere in my house. In the meantime, I wanted to get your feedback on something that I have just been stuck on as far as YouTube.
Before I moved, I had been enamored with praise breaks being uploaded to You Tube. For those who are not familiar (or those who never been to a full gospel church) this is when the church service reaches a emotional/spiritual high point and people express their joy through shouting and or dancing.
I do not know what to make of this. I know for me as well as other people, spirituality, particularly how people worship, is a very personal thing. Are they cool with this being uploaded for the public to see is one question. In addition, are people being uplifted or are people laughing at these videos? Keep in mind, while some people are becoming more tolerate or different religions, Christianity seems to be the one faith that is being being more and more shunned, dare I say, becoming the most hated.
There are a lot of thoughts I have about this, which I will share on the next BurnsCast. In the meantime, "What say you?" Email me directly to feedback@kennyburns.com or comment below.
As you found out over the weekend, I am moving to Baltimore. Not only will I be moving to Baltimore, I will be moving to Baltimore....NEXT WEEK.
